Upon arrival in the Pacific Northwest there has been an abundance of natural beauty to explore even with the limited financial means of intermittent employment. Today was spent on the mountainside with a backpack that has followed up rivers, through thickets and across the globe to over 25 countries primarily through European travel. While a backpack is limited in significance it holds value in consistency and the timelessness of a product that has been a favorite. 100 years ago those same travels would come at the cost of fortune or the life of a mogul and the backpack would likely not be a product but rather a garment of sort. With the new year there are goals being set and outlooks being filled there is a value in appreciating the gift of life and the blessing of industrialized civilization – and the grace of loving God.
A man’s yard, a country story or relic of heritage – in the digital age my front yard has taken the form of a digital lawn called a website (thedailytrotter.com).
Modernity brought Post Modern and the colors faded to Contemporary and Tuscan revival. The word plinth remains useful in emergent Architecture and then we realize the real issue: telecommunications. This world has so many ways to create space and engineers have created systems to make space uninhabitable or destructive: electromagnetic pulses and radiation off household devices is increasingly present. Our fascination with gadgetry will be a challenge for the emergent mind because electromagnetic forces (EMF) cause damage to thought, comprehension and memory. The world might not explode, unless, the fashion world, psychologists, computer nerds or those criminals use euthanization techniques like radiation to make people dumb enough to mess this world up. Wires were not our enemies and it will benefit habitability if we do not overcrowd space with pulses and frequencies. Merry Christmas, everyone.
Recently, I found a video from high school that me and two friends recorded and produced for an AP Economics class. It displays a choice of mine very well – to be a champion loser as long as possible. In hind sight, the choice was noble and idealistic to set my life in course with morals that don’t win but hold value in integrity and truth. The video shows my expression and willingness to act dumb – likely judged – but it holds the key to life: sincerity. The video demonstration a correct disposition to time and place which brings life to seasons that are difficult in personal and interpersonal relations. Do not forget to be yourself in a sincere way – it makes winning in life that much sweeter when you can admit that everyone is a loser in some way.
awoken to the withering of style and the apathy of the mind’s uniform
a crush through the ice to find a world that holds its breath –
away from the touch of a lover to find the warmth of the sun
grasped nearer to a war that fights for a faithless cry
graven and shallow this world holds a life that disappears in night
to the sound of silence and the distance of dreams
onward turning to the mystery of the majestic one
and the fight of urban soldiers that fear the most high
There is a pledge that the majority of Americans have taken called the pledge of allegiance. United and indivisible it has formed a nation that has stood 242 years. Now we have a state that has its largest metropolitan region in smoke and an economy in shambles with a congress passing tax cuts that will undercut the value of the land itself. The strength of a symbol and the strength of nation are formed from working towards goals and respecting others. America is a great place where sacrifice is rewarding yet the selfish acts of individuals are taking livelihood out of a nation. The United States has one of the best protection infrastructures in the world: a network of homes – Architecture that allows healing. While the home is defined in numerous ways and socioeconomic scales, it is an asset to a nation that withstands. With current events and developing technology the pledge of allegiance are words that if followed will bring strength and unity even when a place needs to be rebuilt.
Gave away his best. The less appreciative found the rest.
Now that there is enough smoke in LA to have some smokers admit to the pollution of combustion: cannabis is still illegal in the United States of America. Just a reminder helping people stay with good standing in the law.
Recently seeing the elf emit this blog post is about the protection of human rights: emitting mind adjusting frequencies into other people’s space is a crime. The human mind is fragile and the world has too many telecommunications frequencies already but we need to not use emitting devices, especially around homes and workplaces. Concentration, relationships and life is at stake and if we don’t protect the body from this frequencies it will be a loss.
